The widespread use of the personal computer and the proliferation of programmable controls have greatly affected the world of motors and controls.  Lubbock Electric Co. has responded by devoting major time and energy to stay abreast of rapidly changing technologies in industrial control systems.  The degree of control that is demanded in today's world was not even possible a short time ago.  Whether in the field of process control, automation, or data acquisition, LECO can provide you with a timely, cost-effective solution to your problems.

LECO has also invested in freshwater systems and waste-water systems by automating processes that can be monitored and controlled remotely via portable electronic devices.  These "SCADA" systems are becoming more and more effective with the rise in cost of labor and decrease in cost of automation products.  Also, it has become a large market with the current water struggle and companies needing to have precise operations and flow controls to detect water usage.  Pumps, PLCs, Controls, and Operator Interface Systems are the new technologies that allow water companies to have accurate and reliable systems.

LECO has provided these services to the following locations:

City of Olton, Canadian River Authority, Canadian River Municipal Water Authority, City of Abilene, City of Jayton, Texas Department of Criminal Defense (Post, Texas), City of Dickens, Buffalo Springs, Roosevelt School, City of Seagraves, City of Wolfforth

The Brains behind the Madness:

The automation market is so complicated and fast paced that once you finally get caught up, you need to change. Well, to help our customers out we have been doing a great deal of research and found a PLC that can work for almost any application. This processor is called a M340 and its unique specialty is the ability to talk over the internet. This gives Lubbock Electric the capabilities to work on PLC programs and troubleshoot problems remotely from the comfort of our office, instead of a dusty gin. We are starting to use this processor in all of our applications and have been happy surprised at how well it operates. From press consoles to seed scales, water wells too saltwater disposal units, no operation is too big or small. For more information on this product or upgrade previous consoles please call Lubbock Electric.
